I found an article on heart disease, which seemed to be the largest thing to kill people. This article is from CQ searcher and describes the fact that about 2/3rds of the country is considered to be overweight and how to prevent a bit of the heart problems. It is also concerned with the lack of doctors suggesting prevention, and patients choosing to have a costly high tech solution in their advanced disease than to prevent it in the first place. Many doctors are very concerned about the incoming wave of cardiac disease as it is going to be with the baby boomers. It also states some of the major reasons for the heart disease.
