Gaians, or users of gaiaonline, are usually people who are in the college years, and younger teens. The Gaians can create avatars with which they interact with their fellow Gaians.
Profiles are used by Gaians to get a better idea of the person's personality behind the avatar. Most Gaians do use profiles. An almost infinate number of profiles are available, and even those are very customizable.
Gaians have a MMORPG available for them to play on the website. Many kill a lot of time here and are admired on the main site for their accomplishments within the game. In the game they battle animated objects, the animated, with rings that give them "super powers". The rings can be taken off and switched with new ones they encounter in the game.
Great topic to research. I would be curious to ask members of this group if generally they try to create a charactor that best represents themselves, or represents what they wished they could be?
